๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ Karnataka Dominates 51st Junior National Swimming Championships.

The 51st Junior National Aquatic Championships 2025 concluded in spectacular fashion at the Naranpura Sports Complex, Ahmedabad (3โ€“7 August 2025), with Karnataka emerging as the overall champions after a week of record-breaking performances.

The championship witnessed 15 new Junior National Records fall, as over 600 young swimmers from across India competed fiercely.

๐Ÿ† Record-Breaking Highlights:

Dhakshan S (Karnataka): Smashed the 200m Freestyle (1:52.20) and 400m Freestyle (3:57.77) records.

Tanishi Gupta (Karnataka): Set new marks in the 100m Butterfly (1:00.93) and 50m Butterfly (27.70).

Thanya Shadakshari (Karnataka): Record in 400m Individual Medley (5:03.15) and 200m Breaststroke (2:38.67).

Other record setters included M S Nitheesh (TN), Tirthank Pegu (Assam), Laitonjam Lanchenba (Manipur), Vihitha Nayana Loganathan (Karnataka), and Aditi Satish Hegde (Maharashtra).


โญ Notable Performances:

Krishna Yadav (UP) won silver in the 50m Butterfly Boysโ€™ Group II (26.83 sec), earning his third medal of the meet.

Karnatakaโ€™s consistent podium finishes across multiple events secured them the Champions Trophy.


With a mix of speed, skill, and rising talent, the 51st edition proved that Indiaโ€™s junior swimmers are making waves on the national stage.
