🏊‍♀️ Karnataka Dominates 51st Junior National Swimming Championships.

The 51st Junior National Aquatic Championships 2025 concluded in spectacular fashion at the Naranpura Sports Complex, Ahmedabad (3–7 August 2025), with Karnataka emerging as the overall champions after a week of record-breaking performances.

The championship witnessed 15 new Junior National Records fall, as over 600 young swimmers from across India competed fiercely.

🏆 Record-Breaking Highlights:

Dhakshan S (Karnataka): Smashed the 200m Freestyle (1:52.20) and 400m Freestyle (3:57.77) records.

Tanishi Gupta (Karnataka): Set new marks in the 100m Butterfly (1:00.93) and 50m Butterfly (27.70).

Thanya Shadakshari (Karnataka): Record in 400m Individual Medley (5:03.15) and 200m Breaststroke (2:38.67).

Other record setters included M S Nitheesh (TN), Tirthank Pegu (Assam), Laitonjam Lanchenba (Manipur), Vihitha Nayana Loganathan (Karnataka), and Aditi Satish Hegde (Maharashtra).


Notable Performances:

Krishna Yadav (UP) won silver in the 50m Butterfly Boys’ Group II (26.83 sec), earning his third medal of the meet.

Karnataka’s consistent podium finishes across multiple events secured them the Champions Trophy.


With a mix of speed, skill, and rising talent, the 51st edition proved that India’s junior swimmers are making waves on the national stage.
