🎯 Khelo India Youth Games 2025 (Gaya, Bihar)

  • At just 16, Manavi delivered a standout performance, claiming three golds and one silver:
    • Gold: 100 m Breaststroke (1:18.30), 50 m Butterfly (28.87 s), and 200 m Individual Medley.
    • Silver: 50 m Breaststroke.
  • Her haul helped Karnataka secure 17 golds and 33 medals overall, contributing significantly to the state’s top-tier finish in swimming events. 

🚀 Progressive Growth Across Editions

  • 2022: Bronze in the 200 m Individual Medley at KIYG
  • 2023: Upgraded to silver in both 200 m Medley and 100 m Breaststroke
  • 2025: Emerged dominant with three golds and a balanced mindset focused on performance over pressure.

🎓 Background & Training Setup

  • Originally from Delhi, Manavi’s family relocated to Bengaluru over a decade ago to support her training ambitions.
  • She trains at the Padukone–Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence, under the Khelo India-accredited Dolphin Aquatics Academy .

🧪 Athlete’s Philosophy & Attitude

  • When asked about her continuous improvement, Manavi emphasizes: “Honestly, it is training, training and training. The more you train… the more you get better.
  • She maintains composure even after narrowly missing out on a possible fourth gold: “I just try to swim a good race each time. If I win, that’s very good—but if not, it’s okay.
