
Bangkok, Thailand ā August 2025: Indiaās young boxing stars delivered a power-packed performance at the Asian U19 Boxing Championships, with Nisha (54 kg), Muskan (57 kg), and Rahul Kundu (75 kg) clinching gold medals in their respective categories.
In the womenās section, Nisha outclassed Chinaās Yang Sirui with a dominant 4ā1 win, while Muskan overcame Kazakhstanās Ayazhan Ermek in a nail-biting 3ā2 split decision. Both displayed a perfect mix of precision, power, and tactical brilliance.
The Indian womenās team was in exceptional formā9 out of 10 boxers returned with medals, including 2 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze, underlining Indiaās growing dominance in youth boxing.
On the menās side, Rahul Kundu powered through his bouts, capping his campaign with a gold in the 75 kg category. Teammates Mausam Suhag (65 kg) and Hemant Sangwan (90 kg) also reached the finals, ensuring more podium finishes for India.
